Briqpay launches registration product for continued streamlining of B2B e-commerce

January 28, 2021 Stockholm: A couple of months after the announcement of the investment round and the launch of their B2B checkout, Briqpay has launched a new product on the market. An automated registration flow with validated data. The purpose of the product is to cut manual handling and create a user-friendly and efficient flow for both sellers and buyers. It appears from a press release.

Briqpay is a Swedish startup that offers services for a friction-free sales and buying experience for online companies. In 2020, they launched their checkout solution, fully adapted for B2B sales online. The checkout solution is a flexible and scalable solution where the merchant can combine their own invoice with optional alternative payment methods, locally or globally. By applying different types of rules that are based on, for example, a credit spread, the trader can easily manage his risk assessment without manual imposition. The regulations also give the trader the opportunity to control the purchase flow based on customer type.

“We want to eliminate manual processes, create secure business while the buyer gets a user experience similar to the one they get in a consumer shop,” says Sara Johansson, co-founder and sales manager at Briqpay. “A friction in the buying process we have located is precisely the creation of an account with an e-merchant, where it can take anywhere from a couple of hours to several weeks before the application has been processed by the merchant. By automating the application process and giving the merchant validated data, we can shorten this time to seconds, ”she continues.

Briqpay’s vision is to challenge the way online sales between companies are handled today, by removing manual processes and creating smooth purchasing experiences. The launch of the new product is another step towards a frictionless customer journey between companies. The red line in Briqpay’s range of products is precisely flexibility and scalability. As well as the ability to own and control the purchase flow through Briqpay’s regulations.

“We have worked hard to launch the registration flow and have seen a great need for the product from the dealers we are in dialogue with. We see both the checkout and the registration flow as a simple tool, which will help merchants to digitize and streamline their internal processes while offering their customers a good user experience. It is only a matter of time before the demand for digitization in B2B increases, our products will simplify the digital shift in both the short and long term, ”says Mats Andersson, co-founder and technology manager at Briqpay.

The product is launched together with a retailer in the Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish markets.
